An English In Kentucky

August 17th 2010    Tim Candler

Morning Glory time.   They will wander on until the frost.   They'll see the Fall.  And next year the Vegetable Gardener will certainly curse the bind of scattered Morning Glory children.

But the children of these Blue Morning Glory tend not to run true to the promise of their parents.  They are secretive in size, and wan in color.  So every year a new packet is obtained from the hardware store.

It's suspicious.   Then when Blue Lake Bush beans climb.  And then when that glorious annual, the  Nasturtium , usually so impertinent in the hot weather fails through no fault of soil or lack of water.  Suspicion is compounded.
