An English In Kentucky

August 22nd  2011    Tim Candler

Always an error to reach a conclusion based upon scanty evidence and wishfulness.  Nonetheless I will make the leap and I will fly, by saying there are fewer Stinkbugs in the garden this year because of a rather large Mouse that lives in the Beans and a family of Brown Thrashers that can often be seen.

I imagine the Mouse trundling around in the dark of night, his keen eyes catching starlight and the whiskers on his nose pointing him toward the scent of a sleepy Stinkbug.  Some nights he feasts on three or four of them, because it's the crunchiness that satisfies him.
