Some disappointment in the
creative world. Pawpaw might have had an unproductive year.
Just two have been spotted. But I would like to think Pawpaw have
acquired sneakiness. I would like to think they are hiding their
fruit from Pawpaw hunters. Or maybe other creatures that climb or
reach have already feasted, and we have enough of those.
It's an odd thing with fruits and
their seeds. There is an active encouragement from a parent plant
which if replicated in my own species would result in something like
"delicious fresh baby" or "fragrant teenager." And in a sense I
guess that's exactly what all proud parents mean sometimes.
