An English In Kentucky

June 22nd  2011    Tim Candler

God himself appeared in the guise of a low flying airplane.  I stood my ground, but I did not wave and I felt for a moment that I was in the grocery store looking for bargains.  Afterwards I had to lie down, because I had eaten far too much, and I feel that way this morning.

Nor do I believe this particular observation of The Solstice met the necessary criteria for a moment of stillness.  And in terms of  the relationship between plumage and language, I would have to enter the pageantry of menu and recipe.  So I will instead suggest that an expanding waistline is easier to conceal with shirt and trousers.
