An English In Kentucky

The New Me is forbidden to give weather a quality.  All of it is perfect and without blemish.  The word rain is an objective expression unaccompanied by adjective.  "Chance of snow" means a "chance of snow".

But the Old Me sometimes becomes spring-like.  He bubbles out, hopping like a Frog on a carpet.  He sees puddles where tilth should be. His new wheelbarrow unused and his shovel has rust on its tip.
