An English In Kentucky

Well he came, and thirty eight degrees Fahrenheit on the porch.  A look back into time demonstrates the wisdom of patience.  The same thing happened last year and the year before and on it goes.

Necessary to recall that March is wintertime.  Important to remember that because a Tuesday afternoon in February offers sunshine and seventy degrees Fahrenheit, February too is wintertime.  The six weeks for seed starting should wisely begin on April Fool's Day.

But by this time next week there will no doubt be some other brick wall to beat my head against, and as history suggests next early March this early morning will be forgotten.

Hoppy Bugs of course have their socks and their winter coats with them at all times.
