The decision had been
made. Written not so much in stone, more like written in
sand on a beach subject to some very high tides. And
it's long, and parts of it might not seem necessary, and
it probably could be shorter, and I could go on about
Book Ten making no sense unless the ground work is laid
in Book Three.
Have to wonder
how Moses and God managed in their powwow. Moses went up to
the mountain and then he came down again with Ten
Commandments. That's all we really know. What happened
between them was never recorded. But pretty sure Moses,
being a leader of men, must have had a few suggestions of
his own. Either way Book Three is called "A Derailment."
