Potato has breached the soil, its lonely sprout looks
cheerful, green and healthy, and I have to think it's a
Red Norland, but it could be Kennebec or an Adirondack
Blue or one of the Yellows, and somewhere in my head, if
I could find it there's a little diagram which would
argument which says that perfectly planted, neat and tidy
garden rows should be well labeled. It's an argument I agree
with in principle, but for some of us when it comes down to
the practice of labeling garden rows it just doesn't happen.
Call it a mystery if you wish to.
